My friend and her half saree ;-)

I know the title sounds bizarre but its really an interesting story...All women reading will definitely understand and i am sure they will even relate to...So this is how it all began..

We were at office cafeteria sipping hot cup of tea in the evening and one of my friends started saying she has a function to attend next month and its a close relatives function. Like all women discuss what they are gonna wear for the function,she also wanted to discuss and ask our suggestions. We suggested dress, saree, lehanga etc.. Finally she came up with an idea to wear half saree which was new in fashion.

Then began the hunt for the half saree..it started from searching online..She searched in all clothing websites...Jobong, myntra, limeroad, amazon, snapdeal and many more...she would share the links with us and we had to see and give our opinion...She liked one and ordered from one of these websites..she was happy... ;-) but then the happiness didn't last long...she received a mail having options of half saree from the another website with regards to her search history. She liked it more than what she had already ordered.She cancelled that order and placed an order for this new one.

After a week again it is our tea time, her mobile beeped and volla the half saree has been dispatched. It arrived that day, her happiness knew no bounds...she left office early so she could try her most awaited half saree...she sent us all picture of herself wearing the half saree...we all like it..she also likes it..But the story is not over yet...

That weekend she went to a mall to buy clothes for her son for the same function and her eyes fell on a mannequin wearing half saree...she liked it more than her online selection. She decides to buy that now...she places a request to return the half saree she ordered online...So the biggest decision ever is made and half saree is finalised.

But it didn't fit her well. So finally the half saree she wore was selected from a local boutique and stitched according to her wish and will. The final one really looked pretty and was worth all this.

It is the day she has to leave for the function...there is an extra luggage and then we find out she is carrying her half saree in a separate bag...On the function day, she gets ready in her half saree. She makes sure she has someone to take care of her son for the whole day so that her half saree doesn't get disturbed. She enjoys herself roaming around and taking pics...she is overwhelmed with all the compliments she received. Her half saree had done its job, it made her day :-)

It is crazy, isn't it?? but it made her so happy, kept her and all of us involved.It was sooo much fun to tease her every time she spoke about it..I can never forget this whole thing.Anytime I hear half saree i am gonna remember her.. :-)
